02

What the first appointment includes

The chiropractor discusses your history, symptoms, previous care and goals, then performs an examination relevant to your presentation.

Allow approximately 60 minutes for your first consultation. Your chiropractor explains the approach and provides treatment at the first appointment. Spinal decompression is generally offered with lighter initial settings, unless signs or symptoms make it unsuitable.

03

Your second appointment: Report of Findings

Your second appointment is $150 and takes approximately 60 minutes. Your chiropractor explains the initial assessment findings and any relevant imaging, how these relate to your symptoms, and the care options available.

Treatment, including spinal decompression, is included in this appointment fee unless contraindicated after assessment. A personalised plan is discussed using your clinical findings, goals and response to the first visit.

04

Ongoing chiropractic and spinal decompression care

After your first two appointments, ongoing appointments are $109 and take approximately 30–40 minutes. Care may combine spinal decompression, chiropractic adjustments or mobilisation, dry needling, soft tissue and trigger point therapy, muscle therapy and appropriate exercises.

The combination of techniques is reviewed according to your condition and progress.

05

What to bring

Bring relevant imaging reports, a medication list and information about previous surgery or significant health conditions. Comfortable clothing is generally suitable.

If you are attending through a third-party funding pathway, contact reception first so documentation requirements can be confirmed.

06

Private health and rebates

Rebates depend on the service billed, the patient’s fund and level of extras cover. Where supported by your fund, reception can process your claim on the spot through HICAPS. Your available rebate is checked at the clinic.

07

Spinal decompression is part of chiropractic care

Spinal decompression is included in the fee for your first, second and ongoing appointments as part of general chiropractic care at ChiroRelief, unless contraindicated after assessment. No separate decompression fee applies. You do not need to book a separate decompression service.

Choose the relevant chiropractic appointment on PracSuite or call reception on 02 9550 6094 if you are unsure which option to select.

Talk with a ChiroRelief chiropractor about your options.
