A clear first step, personalised to you.

Your first appointment is $150, takes approximately 60 minutes and includes assessment and treatment. Spinal decompression is generally offered with lighter initial settings, unless contraindicated after assessment.

01

Tell us what you want to get back to

Your chiropractor will ask about your symptoms, daily activities and goals. This helps make the appointment relevant to the things that matter to you.

02

A focused clinical assessment

Your chiropractor may assess spinal movement and joint function, posture, biomechanics, muscle tension and movement patterns. The assessment looks beyond the painful area to understand factors that may be contributing to your symptoms or restricted movement.

Bring any scans or reports you already have so they can be considered alongside your presentation.

03

Treatment from your first appointment

Your first consultation includes treatment where clinically appropriate. This may combine spinal decompression, chiropractic adjustments or mobilisation, dry needling, soft tissue therapy, muscle and trigger point therapy, and other techniques selected for your condition.

You can ask questions about the proposed care before treatment begins.

04

EOS weight-bearing imaging when indicated

If clinically appropriate, your chiropractor may refer you for an EOS weight-bearing X-ray examination. Standing images can provide further information about spinal alignment, posture, pelvic position, spinal curves, leg alignment and overall biomechanics.

Imaging is recommended according to your assessment. Medicare coverage depends on the examination, referral and applicable eligibility requirements; confirm any costs with the imaging provider.

05

Individual table settings

The decompression table can be adjusted using settings selected for the individual. Your chiropractor explains the process and monitors the session.

06

Ask questions before you begin

You can ask about the table, the appointment process, expected session length, fees and how spinal decompression may be combined with other aspects of care.

07

Your second appointment and ongoing care

Your second appointment is the Report of Findings: $150 for approximately 60 minutes, including treatment. Your chiropractor explains the assessment and relevant imaging findings and discusses a personalised plan.

Ongoing appointments are $109 for approximately 30–40 minutes. Your care is adjusted according to your condition, goals and progress.
